The Quay


A watercolor painting, picturing the quiet sea and abandonned boats after fishing for the day. Part of the foreground, that is the small hut and the heap of sand is imaginary, though the rest was taken at a fishing spot in Grand Baie. I believe the aquarelle technique would easily give the desired reflections in water and the blurred sky. 

Harvest


Working with acrylic on paper, while adapting with the Van Gogh 's technique. Details of the painting, while it was still being painted lies below.
